“Choppy came to me when he was 1 year old. He was with a family that loved him but were too busy to take proper care of him. My son knew that I was wanting a dog and he overheard a man he worked with say that he wished that he could find a good home for Choppy. He called me from his work one day and asked me if I wanted the dog and I said yes. it took about a week for me to get him. He brought him home to me after he got off work and I instantly fell in love with Choppy. He wasnt groomed very well and of course he was scared and didnt understand what was going on. He kept me up all night with an upset stomach and wanting to play..lol. He was only housebroken to puppypads so I went and bought a harness and leash and started walking him.He was scared of the grass. He has never been outside much at all. it was funny but pitiful too. He got used to the walking right off…lol. Was housebroken in no time at all. All he needed was more love and attention than the other family had time for. I would like to have more than one Shih-Tzu sometime soon. I think they are great. All animals are special. I know Shih-tzus are. I plan on giving Choppy the best home and best life that I possibly can. He loves my sisters dog but her dog doesnt love Choppy back as much or at least doesnt like to show it..So I see another Shih-Tzu or 2 in Choppy’s future for playmate:)He loves his toys and has some favorites, of course, that he likes to lay down with or lay his head on them. So adorable. And he loves people. Love these dogs:)”
